Family Clay Play Sessions

Unleash creativity together! Join us for 2 hours of hands-on clay fun where children and families transform their imagination into beautiful ceramic pieces.
Every third Sunday of the month (except August & December), our Fenstanton studio becomes a creative playground for families to explore the ancient art of ceramics together. From 12:30–2:30pm, you’ll discover the joy of shaping clay with your own hands while learning traditional hand-building and decorating techniques.

What to Expect

Paula will guide you through fundamental hand-building methods—coiling, pinching, and slab building—to help bring your creative visions to life. Whether you want to craft a quirky creature, a decorative bowl, or something entirely unique, you’ll receive expert support every step of the way.
All materials, tools, and kiln firing are included. Your finished pieces will be fired and ready for collection approximately 3–4 weeks after your session.

Who Can Attend

  • Children of all ages with accompanying adults
  • Unaccompanied children aged 8+ welcome (Paula holds a current DBS certificate)
  • Parents are welcome to stay and enjoy complimentary tea or coffee in the studio (space permitting)
