What You’ll Create
Using traditional hand-building techniques—coiling, pinching, and slab building—you’ll each shape clay into whatever inspires you. Paula will guide you through the fundamentals and help bring your creative visions to life, whether you’re complete beginners or experienced makers with specific projects in mind.
No wheel throwing—just the timeless art of working directly with clay using your hands and simple tools.
The Experience
Part 1: Making Session (2 hours)
Relax into the creative process together as you learn hand-building techniques and craft your pieces. Paula provides personalized instruction and encouragement in her spacious Fenstanton studio.

Part 2: Glazing Session (1 hour, approximately 2 weeks later)
Return together to add colour and finish to your bisque-fired work. Choose from over 140 stunning glazes to bring your creations to life.

Your finished pieces will be glaze-fired and ready for collection shortly after—beautiful reminders of time well spent together.
