What You’ll Create
Using traditional hand-building techniques—coiling, pinching, and slab building—you’ll shape clay into whatever inspires you. Paula will guide you through the fundamentals and help bring your creative vision to life, whether that’s a decorative bowl, a quirky sculpture, or a functional piece for your home.
No wheel throwing—just the timeless pleasure of working directly with clay using your hands and simple tools.
The Experience
Part 1: Making Session (2 hours)
Relax into the creative process as you learn hand-building techniques and craft your pieces. Paula provides expert guidance, helpful tips, and plenty of encouragement in her spacious Fenstanton studio.

Part 2: Glazing Session (1 hour, approximately 2 weeks later)
Return to add colour and finish to your bisque-fired work. Choose from over 140 stunning glazes to bring your creation to life.

Your finished pieces will be glaze-fired and ready for collection shortly after.
