Community and Corporate

Creativity connects people – whether it’s a school group making something together, a workplace team building new skills, or a public space transformed by art. I work with communities, organisations, and businesses to create ceramic experiences and artworks that bring people together and leave a lasting mark.

Community Projects and Public Art

From large-scale public installations to local collaborations, I love creating art that reflects the people and place it belongs to. Every project starts with listening – understanding your story, your goals, and the spirit of your space – and grows into something we make together.

Public art installations might be a striking sculpture, a mural, or an immersive piece that becomes a focal point for connection and conversation. Community collaborations bring people into the making process – from sharing ideas to physically shaping the work – so the finished piece truly belongs to those who helped create it.

Corporate commissions can transform an office, reception area, or shared space into somewhere that tells your story and sparks conversation.

Murals with Meaning

I’ve worked with primary schools to design, make, and install large ceramic murals – each one unique to its setting. Every child contributes at least one tile, giving the finished piece a real sense of ownership and pride.

These murals are built to last, becoming part of the place for generations. And while schools have been my main collaborations so far, the same approach works beautifully for community spaces, cultural venues, and even corporate evnironmets wanting a truly collaborative, enduring artwork.

Corporate Workshops and Team Building

Clay has a way of bringing people together – it invites curiosity, sparks creativity, and gets everyone talking (and laughing) in a way that feels easy and natural. My corporate workshops are designed to help teams step away from their screens, think differently, and connect in a more human way.

Whether you’re hand-building mugs, shaping small sculptures, or working together on a collaborative mural, every activity is hands-on, engaging, and tailored to your group. The focus is on shared creativity – building something together, trying new techniques, and celebrating what makes each person’s approach unique.

Workshops can take place here at my Cambridgeshire studio, at your own workplace or event venue, or even online with clay kits posted in advance. The format is flexible – from short creative breaks to half-day retreats – and always shaped around your team’s needs and goals.

However you choose to do it, your team will leave with more than just something they’ve made – they’ll take away fresh energy, new ideas, and a shared experience to talk about long after the clay has dried.

Parties

Running out of party ideas and looking for something a little different?

Need a fun ‘arty’ activity to fit in with your hen do plans, or maybe your child wants to do something none of their friends have done for their parties and you’re stuck for ideas?

A Crafty Clay Party can cater for up to 10 Guests for a fun hour-long workshop making in clay with me.

Each party can have it’s own theme to inspire guests.

Themes are limited only by your imagination and previous themes have included things like animals, coiling pots, unicorns and dragons or a favourite movie.

It’s fabulous to see what everyone makes as each one is unique and makes a great keepsake from the party so no need to spend a lot on party bags.

Your clay party can be held at my studio or a venue of your choice and I will bring everything with me.

If it’s in your venue all I need is a room with a floor that can be moped to clean up afterwards and tables and chairs to fit everyone.

Once the party is finished all of the pieces made stay at/ come back to the studio to be fired and finished with an transparent glaze before they are individually packed up in eco friendly party bags and labelled with names ready for you to collect and distribute, usually 2-3 weeks later.

Party prices:     Clay Making Party                      £250

                         Pottery Painting Party                £250
