UK Product Recall Policy
Why is a product recall implemented?
Product recall refers to the process where a product sold is found to be defective and needs to be recovered from the end user. When a product has been recalled to protect the personal safety and property of consumers, Paula Armstrong Ceramics will remove the product from sale.
Where can information about product recalls be obtained?
- Recall announcements or directives issued by regulator OPSS (UK) . Such recalls are generally announced by these regulators on their websites. The content of these announcements usually includes the name of the product (identification information), risk type, the nature of the problem, the regions of the affected product, and remedial measures for buyers.
- Recalls initiated by the manufacturer or actual producer. For such recalls, the manufacturer, brand owner, or supplier directly informs retailers and other supply chain partners of the product issues before regulators intervene (or in some cases, without the intervention of regulators at all).
